Summary: This Victorinox Swiss Army Golf tool is absolutely worth every penny!
Comment: I had my first one for about two years before it fell out of my pocket at my local course. I immediately went home and bought another one here on Amazon. I play about 50 rounds a year so that's a testament to the quality of the tool. Sliding the divot tool out of its holster is just plain cool ;-)

Comment: I just purchased this item and have used it on every Golf outing since its purchase. I had read that some had trouble keeping the ball marker in place, I have had no such trouble. The onl problem I see is having to clean dirt off the divot tool before retracting the tool.

Comment: If you like golf, this is a great product for you. I have had it for a month and I enjoy fixing my divots so much that I even look for others to fix on my way out of the green. Just be careful to clean it before you store it every time.

Summary: hefty, clunky, but maybe worth it to carry
Comment: This is a well built product-- maybe even a bit over-built. I've owned mine for a couple months now and probably played 20 rounds of golf with it... I find that the ball mark repair tool is maybe a bit wider than needed, plus it picks up dirt -- important, because the tool's teeth retract into the body, taking some dirt with it. I have used cheap BMR tools that work better that probably cost a nickel to make. Also the ball marker has gotten loose in my pocket every once in a while (I consider myself lucky not to have lost it yet -- a spare would be appreciated -- due to the eventuality). The saving grace of the tool are the other usual SWK attachments - the small knife, scissors, especially... otherwise, why carry this clunker?????

Comment: Well made and useful golf tool! Problem I have is where to carry this unit. If I attach to belt it is in the way, and if I carry in my pocket it is too bulky. However, I would buy golf tool this again!

The Golf Tool does not look like a conventional pocket knife--it's wider, flat and lies very comfortably in the hand. Ten tools are fitted underneath the robust, scratch-free nylon shell, including a ball marker, repair tool, tee puncher, groove cleaner, blade, scissors, tweezers, toothpick, and a nail file. The Repair Tool can be extended using the golf ball shaped pushbutton and can be used to repair depressions in the grass. The blades fitted on the side disappear into the inside of the tool with the slightest pressure, so that the fork is very comfortable to use. The blade of the Groove Cleaner can be used to clean the grooves on the golf club, and is very useful for punching the position for the tee--especially in hard or frozen ground. About Swiss Army Knives
In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The forerunner of that name dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor or versatility.
